In Between Linocut print
Last to work on in 2025 and first to start with in 2026, this print was meant that way. It consists of two parts - above and bellow. Bellow are the karakonjoli - small evil creatures with horns and hoofs who every year try to cut the world tree (Arbor Mundi) and end the world as we know it. They try to get above and do some naughty tricks on us but they don’t know that up there there is a giant protective onion and a gang of protective creatures waiting for the and that when they get up, the tree repairs itself each year. This happens between Christmas (Yule) and Epiphany or in the Dirty days as Bulgarian folklore calls them - in the end of one year and the beginning of the next.
Printed on Fabriano Unica 250 gsm Crema Paper with black Cranfield Caligo Safewash Ink.
Size: ~70×30 cm
Shipped in a paper envelope secured with a cardboard back or rolled in a tube
